It may seem counter-intuitive to write a post about how to structure a Spotify playlist, because I might well make some people question whether they need a DJ at all, if I am just going to give some of my secrets away. Firstly, there's no guarantee that these tips will work for you - but if you're going to go down the Spotify path - I want you to have a great night, in as much as I can help you. If that means some tips on how to structure your playlist, then here they are.

Microphones can be a wonderful tool for your wedding and for so many parts of it as well, but it can also cause a range of issues at your wedding for a variety of reasons, so here are some things to watch out for AND some tips to get the best out of your mics. Not all dance floors are created equally and there are some really easy things you can both do and preferably not do which can have an impact on your dance floor. Now some of these are more about your venue, so it is worth checking these out.

Where you put your DJ (or band) and where your guests are in relation to your DJ, is a lot more important than some people give it credit for, so here's a few tips on positioning everyone.

This is a tricky question because there is huge variability in what some DJs are charging; but there is also a significant difference in what DJs can offer as well. No 2 DJs are the same, but an expensive DJ isn't necessarily a good DJ and a cheap DJ isn't necessarily a bad one. So that being said, what does the average DJ cost in NZ?

Plenty of people get all confused and occasionally even stressed about what music they should have for their wedding, for which parts, how to pick songs and music.

While some people find the whole selecting songs for their wedding easy, as if they have had certain theme songs playing throughout their relationship - other people really struggle to think of any songs, whilst others have way too many to choose from and can't narrow it down. This is not a definitive list of songs - but perhaps it will be useful for someone who needs a bit of inspiration.
