Motiv Entertainment is a people focussed DJ service - purposely very small - we're not an agency - because it's important to get to know you and for you to get to know us. Being there for some of the most momentous occasions or largest celebrations is sometimes a very personal and privileged position to be in and you deserve to have people working with you who recognise that.
Whether you're planning a wedding, corporate gathering, or private party, we're here to help create the perfect playlist for your celebration but more than that, to help create unforgettable moments through music.
About Us
Motiv Entertainment was created in 2010, consisting originally of just Vito (he/him) - an experienced Club DJ originally from Wellington.
With a busy schedule of bookings coming through, Vito quickly found that there was a huge demand for quality DJ services that were more personal for people, but also placed an emphasis on the importance of the relationship between DJ and the people hiring.
Now based in Christchurch, Vito has continued to work in clubs but also expanded and grown a significant aptitude for delivering for private events - particularly weddings, so much so, that he is often highly recommended by other vendors and highly sought after by prospective couples for their weddings.
With that level of demand, along comes Nancy - aka DJ Dimples to help cover events that Vito isn't available for.
Nancy, like Vito, is a musician by background with a long history of playing in bands. With a similar focus on the importance of relationships, but also a head for music, Nancy is adept at inserting vibe and energy into your event.
